36/366 I See The Light! | Self Portrait

So I went snowboarding yesterday and well all was great until the very end of the trip. The snow was getting sticky and getting of the ski-lift was like being in the ocean during hurricane season (OKAY, a BIT extreme lol but it was rough). Anyways, as I went heal-edge to clear all other boards, my board caught the lip of a ‘wave’ aka clumped, wet snow and I went towards my husband who was bumped by another girl getting off; my board got caught under his and I went down and he went down on top of me. However, this was not the problem. The problem was my shoulder! After ‘popping’ it out on tuesday at the gym, I knew there was almost no chance I could hurt it boarding as it was my lead arm (I ride goofy…AKA right foot forward) and I rarely fall on it when I do fall. When I fell, I landed right on my shoulder and felt another sharp pain…I was done for the day…booo! My husband felt so bad for landing on me but he wasnt too blame :) I strugled to get downt the easiest run I could find as my lead arm was out of commission. I finally wallked half way down…THANK THE LORD for small hills in Saskatchewan lol. I am super sore today so here is the shot I came up with as I am limited….AGAIN…with my shoulder.. Enjoy Day 36! :)
